This is an engaging and unique food experience, one which connects the farmer, the ingredients, and cooking, with the finished product. You will start with lessons on choosing fresh ingredients for the days menu at the “Heart of Seattle” the Pike Place Market, where you will meet many of the farmer vendors and shop owners she has known for more than 20 years.
Diane
believes that memorable meals begin with "heart,"
the best seasonally available local foods and simple
preparation. The meals would be best described as
Northwest Bistro Style. Meals are focused on fish and
seafood enhanced with minimal amounts of condiments
and sauces and paired with vegetable based side
dishes. These are meals designed to be re-created in
a home kitchen with ingredients available in your
local farmer's markets and/or grocery stores.
