Gracefully restored, the ground floor of the Waddell building features 17-foot high exposed beam ceilings, glowing sealife artforms, and intimate lighting. Original artwork against warm brick walls. Elegant not stuffy. Soothing yet dynamic, never self-important or intimidating. This is the home of Pacific Grill--maybe Tacoma's best steak and seafood dining experience--for lunch or dinner.
Start with some nice white wine, shellfish on ice, beef carpaccio or tuna tartare and you are on your way to some good eatin’. This is an elegant, friendly place with a great wine list and understated classiness.
A great salad to behold, if for nothing more than its natural geometry, is the Iceberg wedge--with blue cheese--and bacon if you choose. The BLT salad tastes just like the classic sandwich--as it should.
There is no shortage of great cuts of beef on this dinner menu and with salmon, scallops and lobster complemented with a signature caesar salad with hand-torn croutons, will leave you satisfied. Steaks can be prepared “Tuscan Style” with arugula, shaved reggiano, lemon and extra virgin olive oil.
In the NorthWest there is an abundance of great eateries and Pacific Grill in Tacoma holds its own in a field of tall cotton.
